Our Story
Founded over 30 years ago by Dr. Yvette Kennedy, Rhymes for Young Minds began with a mother's desire to make learning joyful, memorable, and meaningful for her own children.

Rooted in our family's experience, we use storytelling, rhythm, rhyme, and culture to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Today, we empower parents, caregivers, and educators with engaging resources that celebrate Black and Brown children and help families learn and grow together.

Rhymes for Young Minds was born over 30 years ago from Dr. Yvette Kennedy's passion for making learning fun for her own children.​​
